Velvet Serpent Hafla 2026 – Call for Artists
Staňte se součástí komorní divadelní Fusion Bellydance show v brněnském Divadle Lumos v sobotu 28. listopadu 2026.
Hledáme především umělce a umělkyně vystupující ve stylech Fusion Bellydance (Tribal Fusion, Dark Fusion, orientální fúze, FCBD® Style). Rádi ale přivítáme také burlesku, indické taneční styly, flamenco nebo jiné směry, které s Fusion Bellydance přirozeně souvisejí a vzájemně se inspirují. Naším cílem není soutěž ani přehlídka nejlepších výkonů. Chceme společně vytvořit příjemný komorní večer, který nabídne kvalitní umělecký program, propojí taneční komunitu a vytvoří prostor pro sdílení vlastní tvorby.
Přihlášky přijímáme do 18. října 2026
Akce je otevřena českým i zahraničním performerům. Komunikace probíhá v češtině i angličtině.
Velvet Serpent Hafla vzniká jako prostor pro sdílení autorské tvorby, vzájemnou inspiraci a setkání tanečníků napříč Fusion Bellydance i příbuznými tanečními směry. Ústředním tématem je The Other Side of Bellydance – jiný pohled na bellydance, jeho kreativitu, rozmanitost a umělecké možnosti.
Místo konání
Show se uskuteční v Divadle Lumos – komorním black box divadle s kapacitou přibližně 50 sedících diváků. Součástí divadla je také kavárna a bar, které dotvářejí příjemnou atmosféru celého večera.

Become part of an intimate Fusion Bellydance theatre show at Divadlo Lumos in Brno on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
Velvet Serpent Hafla was created as a space for sharing original choreography, inspiring one another, and bringing together dancers from across the Fusion Bellydance community and related dance styles. The central theme of the show is The Other Side of Bellydance—exploring a different perspective on bellydance, its creativity, diversity, and artistic possibilities.
We are primarily looking for performers working in Fusion Bellydance styles, including Tribal Fusion, Dark Fusion, FCBD® Style, and Oriental Fusion. We also warmly welcome burlesque, Indian dance styles, flamenco, and other dance forms that naturally complement and inspire Fusion Bellydance. Our goal is not to create a competition or showcase only the "best" performances, but to curate an intimate evening that celebrates artistic expression, connects the dance community, and provides a space for sharing original work.
Applications are open until 18 October 2026.
The event is open to performers from the Czech Republic and abroad. Communication will be available in both Czech and English.
Venue
The show will take place at Divadlo Lumos, an intimate black box theatre with seating for approximately 50 audience members. The venue also features a café and bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both performers and guests throughout the evening.
